Established in 1973 by the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning, the first class of 16 students graduated from the MSU School of Architecture in May 1978.

Caleb A. McWhorter is the university鈥檚 2025 recipient of the $20,000 Aydelott Travel Award, and Evelin 鈥淛o鈥 Aguilar is receiving a $4,750 Trussell Travel Award.
