Moods
This year is a culmination of my academic career as an art major, but it’s also been tough. I’ve had to rely on God through loss, anger, and change in this journey. I’m using these paintings to document the moods I’ve felt along the way, by employing various color and expressions. The intent of this series is not only to express these moods, but how I got to a place of peace in the end.
Mississippi 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Department of Art students receive local, regional advertising awards
The students won gold and silver awards at the local Tuscaloosa ADDY Awards Gala earlier this semester and went on to compete in the District 7 competition against all 19 AAF chapters in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Public Talk/Reception for The Art of Hope exhibition

John Sabraw will be present at MSU to give a public talk at 1pm in the Robert and Freda Harrison Auditroium in Giles Hall on Friday, January 31. Following the talk will be a public reception for the exhibition from 5pm–6:30pm in the Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.
